A company approached Delin Design to create a logo for their internal food drive campaign. Since this was to take place around Thanksgiving, the client suggested using a cornucopia in the design. Fulfilling that request, I started to explore the idea of cutlery. The second option I came up with used a circular badge mimicking a spoon in a bowl. From there, I explored a combination of cutlery and harvest by created a logo using the white space in the tines of a fork to create stalks of wheat. Finally, using a play on the type, I used the lowercase “H” in Harvest and Hunger, flipped it, and created the linking 4 (for). In the end, the client went with the original cornucopia logo.
